So as a massive Leicester City fan, we won the premier league! Of course there would be a massive parade in town so over the next two or three weeks I will be sharing my photos from the parade with you. This image has a couple of passionate Italian fans, apparently who came all the way from Italy to celebrate the title. What a photo. It shows passion and it represents how much football can mean to  people. The guy on the right with a cone over his head was probably the most excited one as he literally went mental. I thought I would add a tilt shift blur to the image to try pick out the select few of fans within the image, it didn't quite work but I think it works as the main guy is in focus. Leicester  City is now properly on the map, the town was full of different ethnicities, religions and genders too. It was an amazing day and I have a lot more to share! :)

I have shown you some images from my first portraiture shoot which took place in the studio. Now I want to show my work outside the studio. We didn't have a lot of time to plan it so, I thought the best location that is suitable towards the models personality is outside a church. This is one of my edited shots and I think it looks good due to the camera angle and how the background is blurred. I purposely made my model look away from the camera so the audience can try figure where she is looking and I thought it would be different than having her look at the camera all the  time. So when shooting outside the studio, think of a location that suits the model and not you. If you get the perfect location you will get some great shots guaranteed.

My third portraiture blog. I really seem to be loving my portraiture work at the moment, so I will be posting some more through the weeks, while I try shoot some some more new stuff like landscapes etc. I haven't edited these too much, because I love the natural looks of the photograph, I played with the levels a bit just to brighten it up so the image doesn't seem overexposed. Maybe I will post an image that I have previously edited so you can get a look at my photoshop skills.

My second portraiture blog post! So this is another image from the shoot that I really liked. What I like most about it is the lighting. I love how the left side of her face is covered with the shadow from the lighting, it creates a tense and dark atmosphere and mood. The task was to partner up with someone you didn't know much about and show it in the photographs. She was a simple girl but  loves dark and eerie stuff and I didn't know how to recreate it with props and objects so I thought lighting was the best way to do this.

This is my first ever portraiture blog!! I thought it was about time, I would share my portraiture work with you. I have done portraits at college before, but I didn't really enjoy it, whether it was the model being nervous or just me not enjoying the work. But as my photography and camera skills improved, so did my portrait work. I am proud of this work and other work because it shows my skills when working in a studio. Now I did 3 shoots for my portraits. 2 in the studio and 1 outside of it. So keep a look out for these images. I would love to do more work but due to not having my own studio, it will look like I will be shooting on location for the next work on portraiture. The model liked dark and eerie things, so I decided to have the lighting dimmed so the atmosphere is dark and it tells the people viewing the picture a little bit about her. In portraiture, it is always good for the model to feel relaxed so in the other shoot, she brought some props in and they worked really well.

Back with the architecture blog post! Recently I haven't had the opportunity to capture new images but now the weather is looking fantastic, new pictures will be on the way! As you know from my blogs, I think architecture is fantastic. The way the buildings are designed are incredible but what is more incredible is capturing it as a photograph. What I like most about this certain image is the sunlight just hitting the top of the building and with the vignette effect which I added on, It starts off light at the top and gets darker towards the bottom. Something I learned from studying photography is that composition is key. With a good composition in your image, the photo will look even better. So for example in my image, the building is placed to the left and there is a lot of space on the right hand side. Which in my opinion works well as the building isn't placed directly in the middle, so it is something different.
