Clock Tower, Leicester. Normally when taking photographs of the clock tower, it would be the whole tower but this time I went for a close up shot and the detail on the tower itself is immense. The statues add a dramatic effect to the image which is why the vignette effect works. The clock tower is a famous and major landmark in Leicester and an official memorial. There are 4 statues on the tower, Simon DeMontfort, William Wigston, Thomas White and Gabriel Newton. The statues that can be seen in this image are Simon DeMontfort, William Wigston and Gabriel Newton. This image is interesting because just by looking at this famous memorial, you can tell that this tower is an important piece of history in Leicester. Photos that have a meaning or a meaning behind it works really well because it makes people think.
