A Day in The Life

I ran out of ideas on what to photograph, so I searched Google for some project ideas and came across ' A Day in The Life' which I thought sounded interesting so I gave it a go. I decided to photograph a day which didn't include me just sitting at home all day, so I chose Saturday. I photographed things that I did that would be interesting to see and not just the usual activities such as watching tv.

Saturday Morning: 10am

Pure Gym

Photographing myself at gym was definitely not easy to do. I'm self conscious about the way I look and everyone at gym looks at you when you take photos, so I found it hard but I overcame it and took these four photos which is what I did  at gym. I asked my friend to photograph me after I set up the camera for him.

Saturday Afternoon: 12pm

Late Breakfast After Gym

Due to me going gym, I recently have started to diet.I decided to photograph what I ate for breakfast because I had something different. Having one slice of 50/50 toast and a Banana with a cup of green tea (Green tea isn't the most delicious thing!)

Saturday Afternoon: 2pm

Youtube

After gym and eating breakfast, I find myself the best way to relax is just watching Youtube Videos. I definitely prefer it over TV due to the amount of content on the website. I watch a lot of gaming videos, podcasts, music videos etc.

Saturday Evening 7pm

Dinner

For dinner, my oldest brother decided we should go to Asda and cook chicken and boil some vegetables. I have never tried Cauliflower, Broccoli, Kale or String Beans before. I photographed my brother cooking the food to try develop my food photography skills further, plus it's still photographing what happens on that day. I definitely didn't like the vegetables but did enjoy it as a healthy meal. My brother and I have decided to cook together more often and maybe I will photograph it and share it.

So that was my Saturday. I did enjoy the project, it was different and fun. I have wanted to do this project for a while but I had nothing going on in my life that was remotely interesting to capture so I had to stall it until now. I'm glad I captured the moments throughout the day, and was able to share the photographs and the outcomes.
