This is my first ever portraiture blog!! I thought it was about time, I would share my portraiture work with you. I have done portraits at college before, but I didn't really enjoy it, whether it was the model being nervous or just me not enjoying the work. But as my photography and camera skills improved, so did my portrait work. I am proud of this work and other work because it shows my skills when working in a studio. Now I did 3 shoots for my portraits. 2 in the studio and 1 outside of it. So keep a look out for these images. I would love to do more work but due to not having my own studio, it will look like I will be shooting on location for the next work on portraiture. The model liked dark and eerie things, so I decided to have the lighting dimmed so the atmosphere is dark and it tells the people viewing the picture a little bit about her. In portraiture, it is always good for the model to feel relaxed so in the other shoot, she brought some props in and they worked really well.
