Another type of photography that I love is architecture. There are modern and historical buildings that look amazing, whether its their colours, shapes or size. Capturing buildings is cool because you can edit them in different ways on Photoshop or Lightroom. This building is the cinema called Showcase Cinema De Lux in Leicester. I love the building because of how it is made. The building is modern and massive, capturing it is just the fun part. It is an amazing building and photographing it or other buildings always helps you to appreciate the beauty of the architecture and the structure of it. Another thing is that buildings won't stand forever, so photographing them or landscapes can be seen as a memory in a photo and will allow you to see how it looks in the past to the present/future.

A little throwback post to my first ever photoshoot at Diwali. I thought these "candles" looked amazing. The flames really stood out and this was when I hadn't really used my new camera as much so I thought it would be the perfect time to use it. The photos came out great. I love how the objects which I wanted in the frame to be focused and the background is blurred. I feel like it helps to set the atmosphere, a warm feeling to the indian festival. Diwali means the festival of lights and I captured a lot from the shoot but except for fireworks, this is my favourite image. The fire is the light in this image and brightens up the photograph. This is different from a lot of photographers work, another reason why it stands out to me.

I find macro photography really interesting due to a particular subject being in focus and the background is blurred. It always looks fantastic. While making my way to town, I thought I would try some macro photography myself. I was surrounded by many leafs but this one caught my eye due to the bold yellow and green clashing together. I thought the background blurred looks great and gives the image a forest/rainforest feel. Macro Photography is easy to do as long as you can focus a camera manually. Although a camera can focus automatically, manual focusing helps you and your camera skills to improve. I have always used manual focus and it has made my work look a lot much better so I would definitely recommend it!!

In my opinion, this is my all time favourite image from all of my work. I love the bold and vibrant colours of the plants. Only recently I noticed the little insect and it made me even more impressed with the picture. I have seen a lot of photographers who captured insects up close and they are my favourite images that I have seen. It works well with the background being blurred and attracts the audience to look at the clear detail in the image. My next step is to try get out my comfort zone and get a close up of another insect or even try capture wildlife at Bradgate Park or even one day somewhere out of Leicester.

In Abbey Park, there are many colourful flowers, they are literally everywhere. For some reason this is the flower that stood out to me the most. Maybe it's the bold white and yellow that stands out and brightens up the image. But as I have mentioned in previous posts, I always enjoy macro and still life photography because it is so fun and you can edit it however you want and will have such a bold image. Colours from the flowers will always make an image better, so when photographing still life, choose the subjects carefully, try get some bold colours that clash with each other, it looks great!!

This is the first time I have really photographed and experimented with animals in my photography. In Abbey Park, you are literally surrounded with ducks, geese and swans. So I thought 'Why not try something new and try get some interesting photos?' Honestly, I loved it. But since there isn't many parts in Leicester than I can get to just yet, I am limited to places which I can photograph. But this is just the start of something new. I have done all types of photography and honestly photography is amazing. Blogging is just for me to share my images with people who love photography too but I get to enjoy my pictures at the same time.

This image is similar to my blog post from yesterday but I can't help but love this type of image. The tree silhouettes look great and blend in well. I edited it slightly on Photoshop, taking the brightness down to give it a darker effect and I loved the final outcome so I kept it like that. I also decided to add a vignette effect to the images which has to be done by Photoshop. It is really easy to do and I think it suits my style of Photography. It adds a dark border to the image and just brings out the main image more and makes it "pop".
